Most of us have been working our entire career trying to figure out the magic of branding and marketing and are met with great amounts of frustration. We become PhD’s from the School of Hard Knocks with a Minor in Adversity. We are constantly trying to reinvent the wheel instead of looking outside the box for the answers. Usually there is a simple answer for most obstacles. We are surrounded with simple solutions to help us succeed. We just don’t always see them. And some of the simplest things we normally don’t even think about are right in front of our nose yet we can’t see the forest through the trees. Creating a positive image is done in much the same way. The things that make the biggest difference are the littlest of things. Having a positive image will not only assure your survival in difficult times but it will also allow you to outshine your competition and prosper because you will be one of the only people in your marketplace who markets smart. PT Barnum used to say he knew that half of all the money he spent on advertising was wasted if he could just figure out which half.
